Thank you for registering to take part in the Giant Steps Regatta. We really appreciate your participation in this event.

The Giant Steps Sailing Regatta offers a unique opportunity to sail on Sydney Harbour, entertaining clients or team building with all proceeds going to help children with Autism.

This is an all inclusive event. All you have to do is register and we will organise the rest – yacht, skipper, crew, all food & beverages, including, lunch, snacks, both onboard and pre/post race events.

Ocean Racing & Premium Cruising Yachts: 48’ – 70’+

12-16 guests

Yacht (incl. America’s Cup Challenger Yachts, Volvo 70 ocean racing yacht, Luxury Cruising Yachts), skipper, crew, race fees, water taxi transfers to yacht from MHYC, post-race function. All food and beverages, branding opportunities.

$7.5 – $13.5K

POA – Manual payments only.


Premium yacht: 42’ – 47’

10 guests

Yacht, skipper, crew, race fees, post-race function. All food & beverages, branding opportunities.



Yacht: 38’ – 42’

8 guests

Yacht, skipper, crew, race fees, event entry, post-race function. All food & beverages, branding opportunities.



Yacht: 32’ 37’

6-7 guests

Yacht, skipper, crew, race fees, event entry, post-race function. All food & beverages, branding opportunities.



Donated Yacht

Individual entry

Skipper, crew, racing with other individual entrants, post-race function. Includes all food & beverages.



Land Lovers

Meet up with colleagues & friends after the race. Enjoy the post-race function & trophy presentation on the beach at MHYC. Includes all food & beverages (4 – 6.30pm).



  1. Final price is determined by yacht selection, availability and number of guests.
    • Yachts are allocated on a ‘first come first served basis’.
  2. Own Boat Discount. Register your own yacht in the applicable package above and receive a $1000 discount. Please contact Giant Steps to register this option.
  3. Personalised packages are available to cater to your specific individual needs.


  1. The size of yacht and number of guests are indicative and may vary. The event organisers will endeavor to source the requested yacht, however, they reserve the right to provide a comparable vessel.
  2. Your registration is not secure until full payment is received.
  3. All fees must be paid at least 14 days prior to the event.
  4. Race Entry Fee may be tax deductible. We suggest you seek appropriate advice regarding tax and FBT deductibility.
  5. No credits or refunds will be given for cancellations made less than one week prior to the event.
  6. Giant Steps Sydney is a registered charity DGR NO. 32778.
  7. The event will proceed regardless of the weather. MHYC reserves the right to cancel the sailing component due to unsafe conditions at their discretion.
